If you have the old doors, they can be repaired be cleaning them up and
gluing a strong material on the backs. I did not cover the entire backs, but
merely reinforced the areas that had split. You can even cut out a section
of the tambour if the plastic is broken and reattach the two pieces. The
material that I used was from an old vertical blind...thin and very strong.
