so? Suit yourself...go get a car with a 2000 pound tow rating and tow a 
10,000 pound trailer with it.....

All who say they are a great rig have never had an accident.... any who 
have..well, dead men tell no tales. 

...and if you are involved in an accident and survive....  see what happens 
in court when a lawyer gets a hold of those numbers....

Remember auto manufacturers make their tow ratings as high as possible. Tow 
ratings involve..engine, transmission, brakes, frame etc....those cars might 
be the greatest tow vehciles out on the road, but according to their 
manufacturers they are not made to handle towing heavy loads. 

I would never risk my life, my family's life and everyone else out on the 
road by doing that.... but it's a free country.  I would also be embarrassed 
to drive down the road looking so foolish.

Good luck, if you are going to attempt it I suggest you at least get a 
Hensley hitch.
