RE: [a/s] Low Voltage

	there are heavy duty extension cords and then there are HEAVY DUTY
extension cords. Chances are you are running a long 12 or 14 gauge as these
are the more common heavy duty types. There are yellow 10 gauge that only
lose a fraction of a volt over 100 feet. $$$ but worth it to have one
around.
	As far as damage goes to the AC unit ... the pump is probably lugging a bit
.... It may be that your AC is drawing more than the cable can handle ...
check and see if the cable is warm to the touch with the AC on and if so
..opt for the bigger cable.
