This little tidbit was on the RV newsgroup..............

<<It is critical that the refrigeraton or any other gas flame be off when you
are refueling. The St. Louis Airstream dealer sold two Airstreams to the
same couple. The first one was reduced to a flat bed trailer when they
pulled in a filling station and stopped over a gas spill with the frig on
gas. Also there was a recent tragedy out East when a trailer pilled in
alongside an attendan
who was changing the filter on a pump hose. He died and the trailer  and
filling station burned up too.>
