make sure that you use a product that seals (KILZ, e.g.)
but this doesn't need to be used on the walls...I used a B.I.N. base 
coat...which kills stains and doesn't allow grease marks (that didn't wash 
off in the degreasing) to show through.  The KILZ is what I use in the drawer 
interiors, the closets, under the closets, under the vanity, and the plywood 
floors for sure!
