[a/s] Re: Concerned Aistreamer

Hi Sherry,

I understand your concerns, but you have to remember... we are all simply
giving our opinions. I think it's up to the subscribers to determine what is
factual and what isn't. My experience with this list tells me most of the
subscribers are of above average intelligence. Most seem to be successful,
many downright affluent. I have to assume they didn't get that way without
having some common sense.

One guy says you can pull a 10,000 pound trailer with a car rated to pull
2,000 pounds. Others say you need a big truck. From there the reader has to
be able to figure it out. Your little Bambi can be pulled with practically
anything within reason... I would hate to see someone pulling a 34' tri-axle
with your tow vehicle though.

Many people pay the over $2,000 for *that* hitch.... no one can say it's the
*only* safe hitch.... we can only say, with certainty, that it eliminates
sway. Again, the reader has to assess how important eliminating sway is to
them.

There are no blacks and whites. I would certainly hate for the people on the
list to stop giving their opinions.... and trust me.... no one is going to
flame you for giving yours. I think everyone has the newbie's best interests
at heart.... and may be erring on the side of caution... all these
controversial discussions have to do with safety...and safety is relative.
