[a/s] Guess what we did!

Hi Listees,

First we'll tell most of what happened at Walt's and then we'll have you guess about the last item... :c)
Left Walt's RV in Ocala, FL today with a better rear end on our 1972 31 ft rear bath Airstream. Although not needed we both felt an ounce of prevention would keep major surgery away down the road.
They reinforced the back end by...
taking the rear door off plus the door frame. Then the bumper storage area cover door was removed - no elephant ears done - they... Tom is Walt's brother-in-law & works with Walt... don't care for the el. ears, only couple bolts with that (and we're not trying to start a soapbox discussion here on the pros and cons, just letting people know how Walt's place does it). Not only were the usual 2 bolts attached to the frame from the body but Tom also installed a steel L-brace in the door frame on each side.
Asked Tom to check the shocks while we had the wheels off for having wheels re-packed. Original shocks still there from 1972 and not leaking but decided to get replaced anyway.
NOW, guess what else we had done there- this will be especially interesting for those who have met us. And to lead you astray think of a Florida fruit for part of a clue.

Cindy & Carl, #7494

P.S. Were planning to head for Georgia when done at Walt's - a guy named Carl Taylor stopped by Walt's and we ended up being invited to a FL Springs Unit rally at Carl's house - about 15 min. away. So for $25 we're spending Thurs.thru Sun at his plave in the country. The usual limited electricity and water is available. Also invited to caravan with them to Myrtle Beach Rally but we're undecided about that. Really wanted to get to Andersonville, Bluebird bus factory, Pres. Carter's Plains, GA, and especially TOG(Top of Georgia) A/S park in Helen!
