I removed all water pressure regulators from my
trailer water system. Inside and out, I know that
sometimes that puts added pressure on the hose...but I
would rather replace my hose every year than have no
water pressure while taking a shower. I am going to
hit the road for a year, in a couple of months, and am
going to buy one of those new "steel braided water
hoses" that will not break, for my travels. I have
never had any problems with leaks or anything. Of
course a few years ago I went thru and replaced every
line in the trailer, because of a freeze problem. So 
are in real good shape. I do keep a regulator to use
if I think that the pressure in the park is unduely
high. I also TURN THE WATER OFF AT THE SPICKET FEED,
each time I leave for the day or even a couple
hours!!!! This is a good Idea! As that way, if your
trailer or water supply line breaks while you are not
there...your trailer won't be flooded, and the park
water system won't be drained. I have walked by a few
trailers and seen water running out the belly from a
break, that happened while they were gone hiking or
something! Felt so sorry for the owners!! Not going to
happen to my baby!!!!
