Re: [a/s] Insutlation



Hi Gail,  I know for sure my 56 Overlander has a fairly light density
fiberglass insulation throughout.  I can't verify for you insul in later
years, but suspect it is fiberglas batt.  My walls are only about 1.5-2
inches thick, so R-value isn't going to be phenominal with any insulation
except maybe some type of NASA ceramic polymer....

Of all the insulation types I've seen, it seems like the "new" Icynene foam
is ideal for such spaces--waterproof, airtight, non-nutritive,
non-toxic....I'm going to try to have it installed for my remodelling.
