Pergo is a floating floor, i.e., it is not fixed or glued to the existing
floor of the Airstream.  This is what makes it ideal for an application of
this type.  I put a real hardwood floor in my trailer, but it too was
installed so as to "float".  The individual boards are glued together, but
they are not affixed to the existing floor.
