Get yourself a small pocket wonder!  A h/pc!  You can buy them used for
approx $400 with modem.  They keep you connected to both your home 'puter
and email .  And, all your records.  Also, they can be used to pay bills;
and, do just about anything else a regular puter does.  I'm not talking
about personal organizers or laptops or palm pilots.  Look for something
like hp/c (handheld personal computer) that runs WinCE 2.0.  Don't go
lower than 2.0.    The neat thing is that it is actually in your pocket
or a very small space until needed.  
I use a Compaq h/pc 2015c with powercradle, WinCe2.0.  Its the best on
the market.
