[a/s] Sealants - Ex- & INterior

NOOOOOOO do not consult West Marine, FOR SEALANT...THEY ARE GOOD FOR A LOT OF 
THINGS...BUT AN A/S IS NOT A BOAT!! & DOES NOT SIT IN WATER!!!!!!! 
W.M. suggested a sealant that was very toxic and cost about $110. for a 
gallon...and the A/S dealer said do NOT use this!  Because it will not allow 
your wood to BREATHE!!! & this is crucial in an A/S.  The wood must breathe 
since their is no other place BUT THE FLOOR for moisture to get out, and if 
it can't BREATHE THROUGH THE FLOOR!!!!!, then you will have a serious 
mold/mildew problem BREWING .
AIRSTREAM recommended a sealant with an anti-mildew/fungus  agent in it that 
I got from HOME DEPOT (EAGLE/LOEWS)...and it cost less than $30. for the 
gallon, and so far I've only used 1/2 of it...and I did the entire back 
bedroom, the 'head', the hall, the galley, under everything I could reach.  
He told me to 'slop' it on everywhere I could see any wood...under the 
closet, under the couch, the cabinets, the furnace, the bath vanity...and 
hopefully, IF you are changing the flooring (vinyl/carpets), then you'd be 
doing it all, and I did! 

I have the can in my A/S...and I will get it an drop the info in a separate 
email for you all  this afternoon.
Geezzzzzzzzz. you guys, I'm sorry.......I also promised someone here on the 
list, the name of the parts store in Southern Washington State 
too................  Ok...I'll do both I promise! this afternoon after my 
painting guy leaves.

P.S.  I also know the BEST stuff for 'caulking' (did you all know it can't be 
rigid?) which, btw, came from W.Marine!!!
    & The best stuff for sealing the EXTERIOR 'cracks' (windows, trim, etc.)  
This stuff is difficult to get, but cheap and definitely worth the trouble. 
(and the best way on how to remove the old stuff.......and caveats on the 
removal and application!) 
I'll share that if any one asks...sometimes tho' I feel like I'm saying 
things that everyone already knows about and you'd all just say 
"DUHHHHHHH"... So, please just tell me to tell you & I'll be happy to.
But, I WILL send out the name of the floor sealant and the exterior sealant 
and the parts place....TODAY!!!
