	When near Lexington NC, I blew a tire on my a/s.  I went to the nearest
service station and used the phone to call AAA of which I have been a
member for 29 years.  
	1.  You can not call AAA.  There 800 number is not available from a pay
phone.  The phone company would not let the 800 number go through. 
Smart boy that I am, I tried to call the 800 call ATT and then get the
AAA number.  It did not work either.
	2.  I spent the money to call AAA in Charlotte (I think) and told the
lady I had tire trouble and needed help.  I then mentioned that it was
for my camper and she informed me AAA did not do campers.  She was
almost to the point of being rude in her informing.  I was in no mode to
take the hassle so I hung up.
	3.  About this time, a deputy sheriff came by and told me of a tire
shop down the road about 5 miles.  They did the job for me for a fair
price and I was on my way.
	4.  I have nothing to say good about AAA.  I paid them a lot of money
across 29 years and have ask for help 2 times.  When at home, it is
easier to ask family.  The second time I ask I received no help and was
insulted.  
	5.  I am no longer a member of AAA
	6.  I do not know much about the service of Good Sam of which I am a
member but the learning experience in NC taught me that a cell phone or
a cop are better than road service.
	7.  Delorme is better with maps than AAA and 1/2 the price.
	8.  If I don't quit soon, I will get madder than a hornet again and
make all the list mad too.
