As Dick suggests below, the refrigerator is probably not dead. Provided the
heating element still works, there is always hope (unless you smell ammonia).

Have a look at how these things work (see book on absorption refrigerators
at local library) and you will see how really simple they are and how the
various fluids are kept separated inside them and why just getting those
fluids back where they belong will probably fix it.

Before you burp it, just try leaving it on and tow it down your choice of
roads of several hours. The jostling might restore it. If that doesn't
work, turn it off and try another similar ride, then recheck.
