Hey, papawfrog, as far as I know a 69
A/S only uses a 5 wire hookup.  The 7 wire came later.  The center pin
might be
the brake circuit in a 69, and you would 
have 2 dead circuits -- in my opinion!!!!
I hazard an opinion because I have not 
seen a response from any one else, but 
this may at least get some reaction if I am
wrong!  Hope you get the straight dope out of all of this.
