RE: [a/s] Truck cap vs. roll-top cover

Hi Folks,
I am buyinf an F250 and I plan to carry a generator in the back.  The cap
gives enough height to accommodate the generator and the roll top does not.
Just a thought.

Just got my new SuperDuty F-350 crew cab with PSD (short bed like Hunter's).

What factors did you two consider in getting your truck caps vs. doing a
roll top cover. I'm looking at the Roll-N-Lock cover (slides over the bed
and closes in multiple positions).

I'm new to pick-ups and maybe there's a really bonehead thing I'm not
considering that someone else will bring to light...that's the wonderful
thing about these lists!!
