All for the sake of television? <grin> I was married to my wife
almost three months before I realized she HAD a TV! We don't watch it
much... <grin>

I've heard the government gets about 54%-- yes, more than half-- of
our income, so I'm not much in favor of more taxes. I'm ESPECIALLY
against yearly property taxes: How is one supposed to retire, and
avoid living in a cardboard box?

As things look now, we'll be full-timing in Austin beginning late
March/early April...

... and my wife isn't comfortable in the Airstream, so we're buying a
30' Starcraft; much newer, more like a house. We're selling the
Airstream <http://www.jump.net/~micsteel/as.htm>... I hope you won't
shun us! <grin>
The kids will be living in our Fredericksburg house; we'll be in Austin.

We'll be staying at a quiet, natural-looking park on South Lamar,
called Village Trailer Park. It's about three miles south of the
Pecan Grove RV Park, and is directly behind a great taco place called
Maria's Taco Express. Look for the outstretched arms! (Bring a
camera! <grin>)
When I bought my Airstream, it was parked there, and I kept it there
till after we got married. It's convenient to Kerbey Lane, Sonic, El
Rancho, American Propane... and located such that traffic on the
street is not an intrusion, as it is at Pecan Grove. The rates are
over $100 less, as well, and the park doesn't look so much like a
parking lot in the desert. Okay, Pecan Grove isn't that bad! And PG
*is* located next to a couple of fine eateries and across from
Flipnotics Coffee House... but it's only a short distance away.

Let me know when you're heading this way, and I'll give you our
number. I've enjoyed your posts and your website-- especially the
Rainbow Bridge-- and am also looking forward to seeing you.
