Re: [a/s] Bruisers Oil Change
Last November I went to an RV show in Fort Worth and spoke with a rep
from Amsiol. He had a demo of an auxiliary oil filtration system which
took oil from the crankcase and ran it through a really dense filter
and back into the crankcase independent of the normal oil pump and
system. He said it will filter the entire oil supply about every 5
minutes or so and remove particles much smaller than any normal
filter. When used in conjunction with oil analysis, he said that
commercial trucks could get hundreds of thousands of miles without an
oil change and had documentation for this. I was doubtful, but what do
I know? The cost of the filtration system was about $250 to 300 I
think. Has anybody else seen or had experience with this? If it really
worked it might be worth it.
