Just another option.  My 55 twenty two footer had pads made out of the
same upholstery material with some cotton fill like a quilt.  they were
probably after market but installed by the owner to solve the cold wall
problem.  It has rear twin beds that doubled as a living room sofa set.
They were done in a 50's fabric. The pads were about 16 to 18 inches
high and they were attached to the wall at their top by snaps.  The
snaps screwed into the wall and the snap mate was sewed onto the pads. 
I plan to have them duplicated when the slip covers are redone.  They do
solve the cold wall problem.
