[a/s] Bruisers Oil Change

Hi Gang,

I'm hitting the road on Saturday morning, first a dog trail, the Sarasota... 
so I wanted Bruiser to have an oil change.

I called the Ford dealer.... asked for a quote... $69.95 !!!!!!!!!!!!! Forget 
that!

So, I threw the dogs in and we went huntin' for a quick lube kinda place.

Found one that had a sign saying they were voted the best oil change in Ocala.
Holy smokes, that's for me.  I pulled in and asked about oil, they only sell
one kind.  Pennzoil.  I'm sure it's wonderful, but I am committed to using 
only
Shell Rotella.  So..... I asked if I brought my own oil how much would they
charge.  He said, $24.95.  Gulp.  Thanks anyway.... I left.  Then I saw a
little sign in front of the Budget Car rental sales lot.  Oil changes $14.99. 
Well, what the heck.  I pulled in and asked about doing Bruiser.  They all
stared at him.  I'll bring my own oil, I said, trying not to sound desperate. 

"Okay"  They sent me into the office manager.  She called about the filter. 
WOW, she was amazed at the price.  How much I asked.  She apologetically told
me the filter would be 11.39. I heaved a big sigh of relief.  "How much for
labor?" I squeaked out. This is what floored me... she looked me straight in
the eye and said, $5.00.  FIVE DOLLARS!!!! 

I tried to act with some semblence of cool as I agreed and she ordered the
filter. 
I took off and got the oil at Pep Boys.

Oil cost:  25.40 inc tax (I had a qt left over in one gallon container)
Filter & labor: 17.37 (inc tax)

Grand total: $43.37  BUT WAIT.... it gets better (c:

While we were waiting for the filter to arrive I commented on how dirty it 
was,
bird crap from living under trees........

"Oh, we'll wash it for you", the guy says. So.... after the oil got changed
they put the two detail guys, who get cars ready for sale on it.  They 
scrubbed
him clean, even did the wheels and tires......

Can you stand it?????  Bahahahahahaha!  I couldn't have gotten it washed for
that $5.00.
