[a/s] windows, rain & awnings

Hi Hunter:

    I guess I was thinking of a time when the wind was blowing at a pretty
good clip and hitting the rear of the a/s. We shut the rear window and the
awning kept the water from coming in the other windows. We dealt with the
problem of the wind damaging our curbside awning by lowering the windward
side (rear) and leaving the leeward side up and trying to create the
opposite effect of a funnel.  This kept the wind pressure from building up
under and lifting the awning.  Thinking back on this, it was risky but we
were lucky and recieved no damage.
