Hi,
we are in the process of getting our *new* to us '71 Trade Wind ready for
the camping season and I have a question pertaining to CO2 and LP gas
detectors.  The ones I see in the typical hardware stores or Wal-Mart's all
say   "Not for RV Use" on the back someplace.  Does anyone know why they say
that?  The detectors see, like they would work.  I know if they are 110v
only they would only work while hooked to external 110v.   I think some were
battery operated.  Do most who use them get the 12VDC versions and wire them
in?  Thanks for any info
