You mean you saw a deadbolt on the hinge side as well as
the handle side of the door?  I hadn't thought about that....

I'm planning to replace the deadbolt already installed (brass
colored sloppy looking job) on my Overlander, but I've not found
chrome colored deadbolts in the retail hardware outlets around
here.

It's important to find something so that you can't be locked in
from the outside and isn't too complex in the even of an emergency
escape.
