RE: [a/s] Maxx/Air vs. Fantastic Fan

Hi Tom --

Isn't Maxx/Air the one with that big scoop on it? My '98 Excella came
with a Fantastic fan in the rear. When I contemplated adding a second
fan (front), I looked at what other streamers had installed in theirs.
Some had that fan with the scoop on it and found that the significant
benefit with it was that it could allow you to have a breeze through
during those muggy days when the Fantastic's sensor wants to close.

From my personal point of view, the white scoop looks out of place on
a shiny trailer. Sort of like the cheesy plastic stove vent. In the end
I decided to go with the Fantastic fan, in part because up here in
New England the muggy days last about 2-3 weeks a year and in part
because of the sleeker design. We were also very happy with our first fan.
Right now, we don't need any fan :-) In fact, we can heat things in
the freezer.
