My AS is a 73. The running lights I was referring to are used on a many
different things out there so they are not hard to find. My problem was
finding one made in USA.
The zinc part is the base that the plastic lens snaps on to. Mine had
mold growth around the outside edge and was not water tight leading to
growth on the inside. The zinc ones are o-ring sealed (so no mold
growth).
Mold cannot grow on zinc so if I lessen the silicon,there will be no
streaks from it.
I have found the cheaper plastic copies at Autozone and just about any
camper place.
If you want the good zinc ones you might try a truck parts place (real
trucks-ie:big rigs).
I know you can get them and a new lense for your porch light from
Tri-Cities Truck Parts in Muscle Shoals,AL @256-389-9094 Ask for Randy
and tell him you need zinc running lights in red or yellow or a lens for
a cylostat II.(that is your porch light)
