I have a 1971 22'Streamline(Duchess) It is very clean, has new carpet, all soft spots in floor repaired, replaced larger frig., new water pump, new 7.5 gas bottles, & reupholsteried front fold down sofas. I was wondering if I could get some idea what my trailer is worth & where I could advertise it? We also have antique plates.

I am trying to live a Solar and Independent lifestyle, which includes, solar panels for electricity, rainwater catchment for water, Solar cooking, and growing my own vegatables in a portable container garden... So, 2005, I bought a 1972 Airstream Overlander, it really worked out for me... I live in the trailer full time, almost grid free... When I bought the trailer, it was in good shape, but it was missing a living room couch, and a eating table. I think I can build one, if I can see how they are constructed.. Gig

Bought a '69 Streamline Princess (21') a month ago in rather sad shape. Am trying to restore it, but someone took our much of the cabinetry so am looking for a floor plan. Found your site a week ago and am back to dig deeper. Thanks for hosting it. Tom

I just wanted to thank you SO MUCH for taking the time and energy to compile all the wonderful resources you have on vintage trailers. I started looking for a trailer two months ago, and tomorrow I am going to buy a '76 Silver Streak in 33 ft. trailer with a custom (factory-built) back bedroom and all the original everythings, even the 4 folding chairs!!!!! It is exactly what I have always dreamed of, but without your website, I wouldn't have known what I was getting, and I wouldn't have known how to ask for it, as I wouldn't have even known it was ever made (if that makes sense). I feel this trailer was meant to be mine, I posted what I wanted on Craig's list and got it within 1 month, even within my miniscule budget. I owe you big time!!!! An interesting part of this story is that this trailer was ordered by a man who ended up not being able to pay for it, so he sold it to a couple one month after he got it. they had property at Mount St. Helen's, and the week that the volcano blew up, they happened to have taken it in for servicing. Their cabin burnt down, with the trailers papers still inside. The papers are the only part of this trailer that is missing, and thanks to your wonderful, extensive records I will be able to recreate the owner's manuals and all the other manuals and information. We are total novices when it comes to owning/maintaining trailers, so this is invaluable to us, and will help us keep this trailer in the excellent, original condition it is in now. Otherwise, we would not have a clue. I will send you pictures when I take possession. Thank you so much, you have no idea how grateful we are to you for having this website. Pam
