Tom. I have a chance to buy a survivor 69 atlas silver streak. I would love to own this trailer, but am concerned that after sitting in dry storage for 20 years, nothing is going to work. I know it would need tires, bearings etc just to move, and updated propane system. I just wanted to know your opinion on this classic. the owner sent me 125 pictures, and I'll be darned if i can fault it, one evidence of a small leak under one window. I may be crazy, but i love this thing , can you still get parts? the blody looked good to me, love those tail lights.. thanks for any input, richard Collier,, I think theses trailers are the best vintage out there,. I am 61, graduated in 69, and this is just perfect for me. but what do I know..

Thanks Tom for compiling all these scraps of information about these incredible classics! I am in the process of securing my first SS, a 1978 2800, and looking forward to selling my modern unit to focus on this guy. Now all I need is to find a warehouse full of old parts!

We just purchased a 1954 Clipper. It is solid and in great condition. The toilet is a flush type with tank that we doubt is original. We are looking for original interior images as we plan to restore as close as possible to original.

Very nice collection of Silver Streak Photos. I did not see a 1968 Sabre 17' with a storage trunk.
Does anyone have one that could share some photo or email me and I will send photos of what I think may be a 1968. The stamped number on the hitch is 2SC-S268 and the number on the Calif compliance Seal is M-68 S-268 and 3631
I measured it and it is a 14' body less the storage trunk
the storage trunk is 21" in length and the hitch is 39" making it an overall 19' from hitch coupler to rear end of bumper.
Thanks for any help-- :!cool:
