Thanks for the info! My '53 has the semi-circle round rear, not the
"breadloaf" with a flat rear panel, so I'm concerned that putting intwo flush
Sig-Stats half way around on each side that they won't be all thatvisible
from directly behind. For the trip to Texas, I've bought some 2" x4"
surface mount combo tail lights that will be quite visible. But I'mputting
them on gently (no new holes) until I see what was original.
