While it is not unheard of for them to fail the failure rate is extremelylow. After all
they have been using them exclusively since 1961. There are a lot ofthem out there. Plus
other trailer manufacturers buy them as a premium upgrade for theircoaches. So there are
even more than the ones on Airstreams out there. Keep in mind thatthe axles are only
expected to carry 90 % of the rated weight of the trailer.
