Dan,

Before you go removing panels check for a longshot. It happend to me on the
interior 12V system on my '60 and it might of happend to your exterior
lights.

Test each bulb individually to see that it is good. I had a bulb that blew
so that the broken filament within the bulb was positioned to create a dead
short. I was convinced that I would have to tear our the interior skin to
re-wire and was thrilled to find out that it was as simple as changing a
bulb. Boy am I glad that I listened to Dr G!
