Dooh, timing is everything! But my problem was a slit in the black
rubber inner hose. That said, I just finished installing a new identical
manufacturer flex hose that cost all of $36.63. Its 69 inch length is even
29 inches longer than the original. Woo! Woo!
I'm glad that your Teflon tape trick worked so well for you.
