A rare 1960 special order Airstream Tradewind International. Designed for World
Caravans, this Airstream Tradwind features Dual Axles, an option only
available by special order in 1960. An added feature of dual braking system(both electric
and hydraulic) Has an oversize freshwater storage tank, Rear bath model with full size
bed mid-ship. Has stove/with oven, hot water heater and refrigerator. (All components
are there, although unsure of operating condition). About 40% of the cabinets have
been sanded, ready for your choice of finish. The front goucho is missing, but very easy
to build. The tires are good, and the bearings have been packed. Has a spare tire mounted
on the rear, crank-up antenna, dual storage tubes for sewer pipe and/or awning.Will need
new propane tanks, and battery. Has one cracked window, flat glass available at any glass
shop. Two of the side windows on the street side have been replaced with plexiglass.
The step needs repair.
The exterior is very straight, and has been polished. This vehicle has current
registration and a clear title. Reserve the right to end auction, as trailer is advertised
locally. A 50% non-refundable deposit due within 3 days, balance due upon pick-up.
