Re: [VAL] Dr J? a question about heating
Sounds like a great plan, Dr G.
Have you seen those wood burners that stay out in the yard that have a big
boiler, it heats the water that it sends to the house where it warms the
house by a closed loop system? Another loop sends water from coils in the
boiler and supplies hot water to the house for washing, etc. Old farm
houses have had these for years and lately I've seen some really nice
stainless units.
As far as the Airstream and heating with water -- maybe it could be run
through water lines hung about midway up the interior walls where it could
make a loop(s), maybe even have a radiator along the line somewhere with
some small computer fans behind the radiator to 'push' the warm air around
the interior.
In my mind's eye I would envision a small electric water heater or an RV
water heater with the Hot Rod installed which is run off the AC power supply
at a park or even a generator. ;))))
How's that sound?
