[VAL] Hub protection

    I probably will also be crossing creeks with Bubbles and got the 
straight axle to get a few more inches. Can bearing buddies be put on 
any hub do you know? I was quail hunting 2 winters ago and drove across 
a sandy, gravely bottomed creek and the next day the brakes on my truck 
sort of locked up. I had it put up on a low boy trailer and the dealer 
had to hose out a lot of crud to get me rolling again. That was a '95 
Toyota truck (4WD) before the "pre runner" or Tacoma came out later in 
'95 and it was pretty high off the ground. Now I have a 4WD Tundra and 
so far this has not happened to it. But it does make you wonder about 
water getting into the hubs.
