Take a good look at your water lines.
Draw a diagram if necessary.
Pay close attention to all the fittings.
Then make a list of all the stuff needed to replace it.
I would recommend PEX tubing with compression fittings.
Not the cheapest, but easiest to fix with just a pocket knife and a union.
