[VAL] Unit Quartermasters

Hello All,
First and foremost I'll apologize at the beginning for the
NON-VAC/RESTORATION post!
After letting the cat -out-of -the bag about being my Unit's
Quartermaster I have received a number of e-mails from this list
requesting berets and some other items. I'll be glad to help any of you
out but would also like to tell you that your local WBCCI Unit should
also have one of these positions. What a Quartermaster is responsible
for in the WI Unit of the WBCCI is for obtaining the Past President
Flags, PP awards, state flags, a pole, have some berets available as
well as some other WBCCI goodies for the membership to purchase at the
rallies. I inherited the job from a gentleman who had his act together
so its not so hard to work this out. I have a list of "Stuff" available
from WBCCI Jackson Center that is only hard copy, I'm going to have to
work on getting an electronic version and keep it up to date. All this
activity is going to make me take inventory to see just what I have in
my inherited suite case. If your interested in obtaining WBCCI items you
can: 1. Check with Jackson Center WBCCI. 2. Find out who your Unit
Quartermaster is as ask them what they might have. 3. Drop me a line and
I'll try to help you WBCCI members out with what you want. (please keep
in mind that I'm only interested in moving some inventory that might be
getting older and helping my Unit raise some money to update my stock.
In short I'm offering my services and inventory to help strengthen my
Unit). For those of you who have contacted me I'll be glad to help you
out as requested!
 
Thanks to all of you for the support you have given me over the past
couple of days, I'm glad most of you think I'm working in the right
direction for the VAC/WBCCI.
