As volume increased, it became difficult to keep up with the number of postings, and subsequent postings were made to a message board on this site. A link on the page above will take you to the message board, or you can click on the link below to go directly to the page:
Finally, the number of postings increased to an even greater number, and it was necessary to utilize an archive program (MHonArc) to display the messages. The E-mail list files found on this web site are unique among Airstream sites, including the e-mail lists themselves, both in quantity of messages included, as well as the ability to search within the site for topics, or items in which you may be interested. There is a search box available from a link on the home page Tom's Web Page which can be used to find the information for which you are looking.
Currently, there are more than 50,000 e-mail postings on this site, and the search box will look through them all to return your information. This means that your search will include postings from all three Airstream lists featured on this web site. You do not need to know the date, or the subject of a posting, or who posted the message. Enter the key words in which you are interested, and start your search !
Of course, you may be looking to merely browse the messages, and you are welcome to take that approach also. There are any number of interesting subjects covered on the site.
The time frame of the VAC messages spans the period just after establishment of the VAC e-mail list in early 1999, until the September 2003.
