What model and year of trailer? 1950's or 1960's+? Which kind of fan?
Just curious, as the post Univolt motors were all 18 AC.

I just noticed that the fan over the stove blows instead of sucks. I
had cleaned it up last spring, but just now used it. I assumed that I
had wired it with the wrong polarity. I changed the wiring and it still
blows. I then took the fan out and tested it on the bench. Either way
12 vdc is connected, the fan runs the same direction, and that is the
wrong direction. I thought DC motors ran both directions depending on
the polarity of the input voltage.
Now what? Anyone have a suggestion?
Best Regards,
Jim

Hi all,
I finally got some current pictures posted of the state of my '66 Caravel.
Don't expect miracles.
For those who like the scenic route, go to www.vintageairstreamer.com, click
on "Percy", then "During", then "Summer 2004". I prefer this method because
then you trip the counter on my home page.
For those who like the direct route, go here:

Thanks to all who have shared their opinions of my website.
Thanks,
Wally

Just catching up on past VAL digests and read Randy's post on help he
received from David T. at the rally. David was a busy guy cause he
helped me out every day! He drilled new holes in my Zip Dee awning arms
so that the awning could be high enough to walk under and then he
instructed me on the art of torquing the hubs on my tires. I learned
about valve stems and tire pressure. I was lucky to be parked next to
he and Brett, the master chef. I have to mention Herb S. who after
giving the polishing demo came to my trailer and showed me how to
properly use my Cyclo! Then there's Luke B. who crawled under my FC to
assess raising the trailer and Rob D. who also gave me instruction on
polishing. Of course I could digest all this info at night while
sipping on Donna's margaritta's! I guess what I'm trying to say is how
informative attending a VAC rally can be!!!!!!
