Chas, I measured the old top and had Home Depot make a new one covered in a
laminate color that was as close to the original as I could find. I pretty
much stripped out the insides to fix the floor damage and then seal the
floor with penetrating epoxy before I but the insides back in and then put
down the laminate floor in the galley and living room. Susan said she would
rather have a microwave than the oven (although I have a replacement I got
from Jim Smith when he went all electric in his Tradewind). I build a shelf
for the microwave and added doors made out of the same plywood I used to
replace the delaminated bulkheads.
