Just my two cents worth - but I don't think the 70's Beatrice trailers are
too bad. They did have a problem with the longer versions with tail droop,
not sure it was Beatrice per se fault. I had a 59 and now a 75. I really
liked the 59 with all the wood and stuff, but the 75 is fine too. Typical
of anything built in the 70's attention to some details were not there, but
overall a very good trailer. The 70's trailers are still reasonable as far
as weight.
80's and 90's are fine also. Have to watch the early 90's when the EPA got
after Airstream for its clearcoat and there are several years that had
major pealing problems. From about 2000 on they seem to have that resolved.
I agree, made up beds is the best. In our 75 Tradewind, we leave the bed
made up all the time.
