and is now made in Japan per the website.  It mounts upright on a
vertical wall, exhausts up through the roof.  There is one demand line
out for HW, one CW line in.

The older units were made in West Germany & were all stainless steel &
porcelain steel. They mounted on the shower wall.  I bought the ebay

I have checked it out, and all looks in great shape - should work just
fine as the burner & regulator are squeaky clean.  The Porcelain handles
are a nice touch.  The lower middle nipple goes to the shower wand hose.

They seem to have been an option or were added to the smaller trailers
from the late '50s that did not have showers, as I have seen four 18'
Travelers/Caravels with them installed - all looked original.  The old
18' Globetrotter/Traveler/Caravel's didn't have any hot water, so a line
droped down to the Lav/Kitchen faucets, too.

While good for non HW equiped vintage units, they might be hard to ever
use to replace a conventional HW heater.
