I'm afraid I must pitch in with my opinion, although I admit that I find the
idea of overseas caravans in general to be such an absurd proposition that I
delete most messages in that thread without opening them.

How much sense does it make to load these little houses on wheels and tow
vehicles onto boats, sail across the mighty ocean, and then haul them around
looking at other parts of the world?  This would seem to be one of the
fastest possible ways imaginable to bolster the opinion held throughout much
of the planet that Americans are some of the most wasteful and needlessly
consuming humans on the earth?

Sorry to rain on what appears to be a very popular parade ... at least at
the e-mail stage.
