if the FC is an early to mid 50's you can pull it with
any 1950's V8.  22' and less is still light enough
that you're not pushing it too hard.  but you'll drive
slow.. you are in better shape if the front drum
brakes are retro-fitted with disc brakes, that way you
get rid of the brake fade that happens on wet days or
after driving through a puddle.

it's not so much how you get them going, it's how you
get them to *stop*.
