Bob, my former '73 International came with a "Y" shaped spare tire carrier
mounted under the front of the trailer. It had a three point mount. The
rear of the carrier was bolted to a bracket below the belly pan on the
left and right sides and the front was bolted to a bracket center front
just below the belt line. It hung down below the belly pan just enough for
the tire to clear the pan.
