Thanks, Roy, but it was the antique auto restorer guy who came back with the
$250 quote. That was to de-chrome, hand clean, copper plate, hand polish,
replate, repolish, then chrome. They weren't interested in doing less than
the ultimate, and that's the only one I could find who would even consider
the job. It's the small detailed hand work that runs the cost up, not the
size of the part.
