The towing ratings with and automatic transmission that gets an added
2:1 reduction with the torque converter at maximum slip are much
greater, and they drive through the same drive shaft, rear axle and
frame. So I have little concern for those parts. Besides I'm reducing
the torque load for normal driving on everything but the rear axle
shafts.
