GREAT reply Darrell ! thanks. One question though: Wouldn't 'closing' that old manual choke (some) further restrict the amount of air (oxygen) going into the cylinders and thus tend to richen the mixture (fuel wise) and thus actually compound the "problem" of fuel/air mixture at altitude? TIA, Mike.
