Magnets are not attracted to aluminum, sorry. If you have a look at:
http://www.oldengine.org/members/jdunmyer/airstream/may26_03.jpg
you'll see that I pop-riveted galvanized sheetmetal strips to the wall
for the magnets to attach to.
