I have a 1971 28 ft. Streamline Imperial Countess. The lower door hinge is broken. This hinge assembly supports both the main door as well as the screen door. Any ideas as to where I might find a replacement? I would prefer an aluminum or stainless steel hinge if they exist.

If you are anywhere near an RV boneyard, you might try there. Might find another brand trailer with similar hinges. Probably you won't find aluminum or stainless, but you can have the replacement one chromed.

I checked all around the country for these hinges, to no avail. Finally had to ask a local machine shop if they could build them...wow, they did a great job! Look and operate just like original equipment.
