I'm new to this message board, but am very happy to have found it. I need some coaching. I just bought a 1971 31ft. Streamline trailer on ebay. I'm going to Phoenix from Ft.Worth, TX next week to pull it home. If anyone cares to take a look at what I've bought, you may put in the following item number, 1875687646, on ebay and take a look. I sure hope it turns out to be OK. We've been looking for a Streamline for quite some time now and this seemed worth a shot. I'd appreciate some feedback from anyone out there. What I really need to know is where is the furnace in this trailer. The guy who sold it on ebay says he doesn't see one and doesn't know anything about it, he just bought it to sell. There is a small floor model catalytic heater sitting at the end of the kitchen counter with a gas line running into the cabinet under the oven, presumably hooked up to the cook stove gas line. I just can't believe that someone would have removed the furnace. Is it under the floor, maybe? Do you light the pilot outside?. Can someone give me some "coaching" here? And the sooner the better as I'll be on the road with this unit next week. HELP ANYONE!!!!
Thanks,
